BABY GIRL!!!!

We are going to pick up baby girl! Like, now. Right now. After a lot of drama, yelling, calling in favors, and ranting and raving. I'll explain later. But the situation is VERY risky. Baby girl could go to other family members at any time so we have to think of every day with her as a gift. But we are taking the risk for Mateo's sake. How would I explain to Mateo when he's older that we had the chance to know his sister but we didn't take it cause we were too scared? So, here we go. I'll update soon and post pics on the private blog as soon as possible.

P.S. pray for me. I hear she cries a lot.

Maybe you'll believe me and maybe you won't. However, about an hour and a half ago, I was thinking of you and "feeling" that you'd be getting your girl today... Call me crazy, but sometimes I just "know" things. I'm so glad to check this and see that I'm right. You're going to do awesome with her. I'm in tears, by the way.

Oh, how exciting! and nerve wracking I'm sure, but how exciting!! I would love to see the pics on your private blog....I hope all is well, one thing that I learned while doing my pediatric clinical in the step-down nic-u unit was that rather than rocking the baby back and forth in your arms to soothe her, try rocking her up and down in front of you....yes, it sounds awkward and kind of is to do at first, but it works like a charm. As to your previous post, I saw that episode of Oprah and was thinking of doing the same type of post! It was too funny!! Good luck, thinking of you and hoping that Mateo is adjusting well...
