I got several requests to see our private blog with pictures of the baby. I plan to give all of you access so thank you for leaving me a comment with your email. I don't want you to think I'm ignoring you because I haven't sent out the "invitations" yet. I am having trouble creating a private blog with blogspot so it's not really complete yet. Plus, I don't have any pictures yet. Just hang tight and I'll get there eventually. I just don't want anyone to think they aren't "cool" enough to see the other blog. You are all cool. Way cool.
P.S. if you have any advice about making a blog private, please let me know. It seems as if one must have a google account in order to see it. Does anyone know something I don't?

Hmmm, you went to the settings and then the privacy section, right? I have an account with gmail so maybe that is why I never had any trouble. Good luck, I hope you can get it figured out before you cute little bundle of poop and vomit (and JOY!) arrives! :)
I think you get the invite at whatever email address but in order to repeatedly view the blog you need to have a gmail log in. It's a pretty new change.
I guess I'll ask for an invite, even though I don't comment often, cuz I really love your blog. I don't have a blog but I swear I'm not a creeper! I'm 20, I work with kids with autism, I go to school in NYC and I follow a ton of private special needs adoption blogs (via Reeces Rainbow. idk if you know that site) I'll adopt someday for sure

Did you ever figure out how to make a private blog? With blogger people either have to have a blogger account or they can choose to view it as a guest (after being invited of course) without an account but it is for a limited amount of time, and then it expires.
Wordpress allows you to make a blog, or even just certain posts viewable only with a password you can share with people. Of course wordpress does not allow you as much freedom to change to look of your blog without paying for it. So, it's a trade-off.
Anyway, if you do get or have a private blog going, I would love an invite. (my email is in my profile)
